Also, in my final year, I started working as an intern at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals for six months. During this technical training program, I gained hands-on experience in drug discovery & research along with the basic processes like tablet coating, packaging, granulation and dispensing, etc. I also assisted the senior management in improving drug delivery approaches. Siri Redwood | Master’s Program | Fall 2021 After my Bachelor’s, I started working at SunPharma in the Pharmaceuticals processes department as an Assistant Manager for the middle-east markets. My role was to make a critical analysis of Sun Pharma’s portfolio to determine if it meets the target market’s needs. I also scrutinized the documentation to confirm in-licensing requirements. While handling my team of 5 members, I improved my presentation and leadership skills. I ideated and recommended ways to enhance the portfolio to suit the industry demands effectively and got the foundational work done by my team members.

I have completed two online courses, ‘Drug Development Product Management Specialization’ offered by UC San Diego’ and another ‘Drugs, Drug Use, Drug Policy, and Health’ provided by the University of Geneva (UNIGE) through Coursera.

During my undergraduate years, I worked with an NGO, ‘Annapurna,’ that daily distributes wasted food from shops, hotels, weddings, parties, even households to underprivileged families. I was working on a project where we distributed nutrition bars and healthy snacks to doctors, nurses, administration staff, and patients in COVID-19 centers and hospitals. It was a mentally rewarding task as we witnessed the hospital staff working 24/7 and serving thousands of Covid patients while risking their own lives. I played Football at the District level in school and college. I was captain of my college football team for two years, during which we won several tournaments. I have followed this game passionately for years and wish to pursue it whenever I get the chance to play.

After completing my Master’s in Pharmacy/ Pharmacology/ Drug Delivery System at your university, I wish to work in the research and development wing. After gaining thorough experience in pharmaceutical sales, including new product launches, relaunches, and corporate communications strategies, I see myself as a professional who creates value and achieves the desired commercial objectives for both local and global pharmaceutical businesses. I am confident that my technical knowledge, customer-centric approach, and ability to handle large- scale operations will help me achieve outcomes in multifarious settings. My motivation-driven and results-oriented approach will be useful in taking up dynamic leadership roles in the long term.
