In my Bachelor’s third year, I completed a mini-project titled “Microcontroller based Telephone Exchange”. In this project, a few telephones were connected to each other through an exchange. The exchange consisted of various power supplies that were used for either various ring generations or supplying power for telephone communication. The exchange also had a microcontroller that controlled the switching device that connected the two telephones and brought about communication between them. The detailed study during these projects really motivated me to get into the depth of this huge topic of telecommunications. I also helped my Head of the Department in his research in the field of MIMO technology. I learned many new concepts and it ameliorated my analytical skills.

In 2016, my internship for 6 months, at Tata Communications was a crucial experience for me to understand the practical aspects of my field, corporate work culture, and the process for implementing an idea in a team. My performance was well received and my suggestions were taken into consideration by my manager.

In the final year of my Bachelor’s, I was a part of the team that reached the semi-finals of the Robotics IEEE competition. Participating in the IEEE’s C competition was the most enjoyable activity in college. Other than academics, I am a Blue belt in Taekwondo and head the department’s football team every year for my college sports tournaments.

My Aspirations:

I am deeply interested in pursuing my master’s in Telecommunications & its research. Through my education, I have acquired sound technical knowledge in the field of electronics & computers. It has enhanced my ability to think logically, analytically, and simplify any problem to arrive at the result with much ease. The ability to perform under pressure and being responsible enough to complete my work has made me live up to the expectations. My long-term goal is to work in the equipment sector of the Telecommunication industry. I would also like to explore research opportunities after completing my Master’s. I want to offer my expertise to organizations that are involved in developing telecom devices with the help of AI, IoT, Big data, and DLT.

The master’s degree from the USA will be the perfect stepping stone toward the realization of my aspirations. I am aware of the immense challenges in the field of Telecommunications all over the globe. I believe that the scope for research in this field is truly mind-blowing. It has strengthened my decision to pursue a graduate program and my objective to obtaining a challenging position in the industry in near future. Studying abroad in a different country will certainly make me more eligible to work on the best projects in my area of interest. I am truly inspired by the interdisciplinary nature of the program, and the faculty’s approach to education, excellence, and professionalism. It will be a privilege to study with the guidance of renowned professors and I am looking forward to assisting them on various assignments. I am ready to take up any responsibility that is expected from a graduate student studying at your university’s intellectual campus. Given a chance, I would deliver outstanding results and contribute to the community of scholars.
