Is PTE accepted for Australia PR?

Yes, PTE (Pearsons Test of English) score is accepted by the Australian Immigration authorities to test the English language efficiency of the applicant for immigration purposes. However, it should be noted that for this purpose the potential immigrant has to submit PTE- Academic score. The PTE-general score will not be accepted while applying for Australia PR. PTE score is added to the total immigration score that is derived from other factors like work experience, qualification score, and age.

The minimum score that will help you break-in is 65 marks in each module, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. 65 marks will give you 10 points which will be then added to your total immigration score. Hence, one can apply with 50 marks in PTE but will not gain any points on the total immigration score.
