This number had 50% Indian students from the US while the UK saw some decline this year. This was due to the high exchange rate between British and Indian currency. However, UK is still on the top among students due to its high-quality education and with the decline in the exchange rate in 2017, pursuing higher studies in the UK has boosted as the tuition and other costs have become almost 20% cheaper.

The abroad experience is never a bad deal. With the amount of global exposure, polished communication skills, global working environment, individuality, responsibility for own needs, learning with updated tools and labs, and many such elements, studying abroad becomes a feasible option.

Students need to show proof of finances and maintain the amount in their bank accounts for 28 days. For getting a UK visa, finances are an important factor and also one of the criteria to apply for admissions. In addition to tuition fees, living expenses can be around EUR 1000 and much higher in a city like London. Education loans are of two types – Secured education loans and unsecured education loans. Previously it was difficult to get an unsecured education loan due to the short duration of the post-study permit but after the announcement of the Graduate Immigration Route (GIR), it is easier to sanction unsecured loans for the UK
