Some scholarships grant partial or full funding towards tuition fees and a few scholarships provide a stipend to cover other expenses
4 Australia Awards Scholarships Citizens of the countries in Asia, Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East, participating in this scholarship program Bachelors/Masters/ Ph.D. Degrees in priority developing areas of your country Australian Government (Participating institutions) The scholarship usually covers establishment allowance, return air travel,  full tuition fees, living expenses, Overseas Student, Introductory Academic Program (IAP), Health Cover  Pre-course English (PCE) fees, etc. 

Duration: The minimum period required for the student to complete the course also includes preparatory training courses.

 
5 University of Sydney International Scholarships (USydIS) International students

Masters/Ph.D.

Degree

 
University of Sydney in Australia Scholarship amounts to  $35,000/ year. It covers tuition fees and provides a living allowance for 3 years with a possibility of extension for 1 semester’s for Ph.D. students
6 University of Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarships Domestic and International students Masters/Ph.D. Degree University of Melbourne, Australia

Approx 600 scholarships awarded. 

It includes: 


-Full fees for 2 years for Masters by Research degree students or 4 years for doctoral degree students. 


-Living expenses- $30,600/ year for 2 years Masters by Research degree students and 3.5 years doctoral degree students.

-Relocation expenses $2000 for domestic students, $3000 for foreign students.

-Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

 
7 Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) International students (except New Zealand) Masters/Ph.D. Degree University of Adelaide, Australia

Scholarships cover tuition fees, annual living expenses approx. ($28,000), Publication expenses, relocation allowance, overseas student health insurance.

 2 years for a Master's degree, 3 / 3.5 years for Ph.D. degrees.

 
8 Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) International Scholarships International students (except New Zealand) Masters/Ph.D. Degree Flinders University, Australia

10 scholarships are granted. 

It covers:

Tuition fees, generous living expenses ($28,000), establishment allowance of $1,400 towards airfare and relocation.

 

3 years for a research Ph.D. program and 2 years for a master’s program.

Australia Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships


Now known as International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS)

International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) replaced the Research Training Program (RTP) in 2017



Scholarship covers tuition fees, ancillary costs, relocation and living expenses stipend, health insurance, thesis printing and publication costs. 


Duration is for 2 years for masters with research programs, 

and a minimum of 3 years up to maximum of 4 years for a doctorate research program.
