Schengen Zone consists of 26 countries, where the internal barriers within these countries are resolved and the unrestricted movement of people is made possible. This formation is also made to strengthen the legal co-operation between the countries against criminality. The zone comprises of commonly followed rules for external bordering security. Hence, the whole Schengen area works on a common visa policy under a single administration for international travel purposes.
