What is Journalism and Mass Communication?

Journalism by definition is news reporting whereas mass communication includes different mediums of media used to spread news, convey information or entertain people. Journalism covers reporting in a newspaper, magazine, on T.V., or broadcast on the radio. The field of journalism can be divided into three broad categories print, electronic and online. Some programs are designed in a way that you can choose a specialisation in one of these mediums.
