WHAT IS WES TRANSCRIPT EVALUATION?

World Education Services (WES) is a non-profit organization which provides transcripts evaluation reports to students and Immigrants to study/work in USA or Canada. WHAT ARE THE TYPES OF WES TRANSCRIPTS EVALUATION?

There are two kinds of Transcripts Evaluation:

• Document by Document
• Course by Course
• CPA Supplemental Report

For College admissions: Colleges and Universities require WES Course by Course report. Every course you have taken during your college is converted into an equivalent GPA and Grade Scale.

For immigration: Document by Document is typically used for Immigration purposes. WES provides such reports for work visa purposes. For instance, if you want to immigrate to USA, they assign points for Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. But, the degree should be equivalent to Degree awarded in USA. For businesses: WES analyses businesses and accounting courses for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) boards and provides reports regards the same.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS/STEPS OF WES EVALUATION?

To complete the process for World Education Services (WES) evaluations, you must carefully follow all of the instructions during the application process. In short, there are three basic steps, application and obtaining WES reference number, ensuring that the required documents are sent to WES via your school or college with the WES reference number obtained, and finally obtaining the report after authentication and validation.

1. Check whether WES evaluates your university or college degree, research paper, or certificate course. WES functions across more than 200 countries and jurisdictions, including: 40,000 educational institutions, 20,000 academic credentials and equivalencies and 1,600 grading scales. 2. Find out the document requirements for the evaluation. According to the country you need the evaluation for; WES has a list of document requirements listed on their website.

3. WES verifies your documents - WES evaluators review your documents and until they have no further questions. WES reserves the right to verify all documents submitted for evaluation. WES contacts your educational institution or other authorized sources to authenticate your documents. Once WES receives a response, it proceeds with your evaluation. 4. WES only accepts documents sent to them directly by the relevant institution in a sealed envelope, in strict adherence to the format stated on their website. WES does not accept documents sent by students, third party agents, or anyone else. They are very strict about this requirement and they do not compromise on the same.

7. If your documents are not in English, you must submit precise word-for-word English translations togetherwith your foreign-language documents. WES does not provide translation services.
