When people ask me what I studied in college, my answer is always "Fine Arts." To be honest, I sometimes get quite confused when I hear people say they're studying Fine Arts as well. Can they really be the same thing?

Summary of Benefits for European Artists

The Netherlands has a long history of being a rich country in the arts. With that, there are many benefits for artists, such as health care, education, and other benefits that come with living in a wealthy country. Artists have to put some work into their art since they will not be receiving pensions or any other monetary compensation. However, they can still make an income and enjoy their free time when they're not doing their art.

Working Out in Netherlands

Dutch students have a much different schedule than US students. They have to work out in the morning. In the past, many Americans would be busy with their activities during this time and wouldn't have time to work out. However, in the Netherlands, most people work out before going to work or school so it's important for them to get into a routine. The reason being is that exercising at this time will help them focus on their day.

Conclusion

As a Fine Arts Student in the Netherlands, I have had a lot of opportunities to learn more about art.
