- University of Auckland Excellence Scholarships: -

The scholarship is available for eligible bachelors, PG diploma, and master's degree courses in any subject. The scholarship includes 50 grants with each grant valued up to $10,000 for undergraduate and postgraduate study. 

 

- Tongarewa Scholarship – Victoria University of Wellington: -

The scholarship is available for international students pursuing bachelor's and master's degrees. The scholarships include up to 10 grants of $6700 for bachelor's and master's degrees and up to 9 grants of $3300 for masters degree only.

 

- University of Otago Research Masters Scholarships: -

The scholarship is available for eligible students pursuing a master’s degree. The scholarship includes a $10,000 stipend per annum along with a tuition fee waiver for a master’s degree.

 

- University of Waikato Excellence Scholarships: -

The scholarship is available for bachelors, masters, and Ph.D. for eligible students from many countries like the USA, Canada, Brazil, Columbia, India, Bangladesh, Ecuador, Germany, UK, France, Pakistan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, etc. The scholarship has a value of around $6700 based on factors like grades, financial need, number of credits enrolled, number of applicants, etc.

 On-campus residence in the form of student halls residence is an affordable option provided by many universities for international students. These can cost in the range of $145 - $370 per week. You can also live off-campus in a private flat spending roughly around $480 - $1,200/month. Shared flats with friends and colleagues can cost up to $320 - $800/ month. All these costs are indicted figures and can vary depending on your location and type of room.

 

Food and other expenses

An average cost for food and beverages for a single student can cost up to $360/ month. Eating out in a regular restaurant can averagely cost $13 for one meal. Household utilities, content, and services together can cost up to $600 /month. Clothing and Footwear can cost up to $40/month. Transportation expenses like monthly passes can cost around $105. Communication services can cost up to $64/month. Also, you can consider a miscellaneous cost up to $300/month.
