The scholarship is for  36 months for Ph.D. programs and 12 to 24 months for master’s courses

 
2 Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarships International candidates Postgraduate or Master and Doctoral Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung
  • Number of Awards: 330

  • 3 semesters should be funded

  • Doctoral candidates receive a monthly grant of €1.200

  • Tuition fees will be paid up to€ 500/ semester

  • Other grants- €120

  • Subsidized health insurance

  • Family allowance under certain conditions

3 KAAD Scholarships in Germany for Developing Countries Citizens of developing countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East or Latin America..

Preference to Catholic applicants.

 
Masters/Ph.D. Degree

German Universities and Higher Education Institutions

 
The duration of the scholarship is the full duration of the program. Students with a university degree and enough professional experience can apply
4 Heinrich Boll Scholarships in Germany for International Students International students, both EU and non-EU Masters/ Ph.D. Degree Heinrich Boll Foundation, State or state-recognized Universities  in Germany

Masters Studies:


Non-EU students: €850/ month + other individual allowances + tuition fees 


EU students: €649 + €300 book money/ month


Duration: Regular period of study,  extended to 1 semester.


Ph.D. Studies:


Non-EU students: €1,200 per month plus €100 mobility allowance/ month + other individual allowances 


EU students: €1350/ month basic scholarship plus €100/ month research costs allowance


Duration: The scholarship is awarded for 2 years can be extended twice at most by 6 months.

 
5 Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme Nationals of Bangladesh, India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Tajikistan, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Kyrgyzstan, Mozambique, and Madagascar Masters/Ph.D. Degree Aga Khan Foundation: Any university except universities in Sweden, Austria, Norway, UK, Netherlands, Denmark, Italy. Scholarships are awarded on a 50% grant: 50% loan basis every year through a competitive application process.

Erasmus Mundus offer 15 scholarships

Ghent University Top-up Grants: The tuition fee is partially waived, a monthly allowance amounting to €654 is provided.

Erasmus Mundus include: tuition fees, full insurance coverage, library and laboratory costs, student travel and installation costs, a monthly subsistence allowance for the entire duration of the study programme, and other mandatory costs 

Scholarship are different for Programme and Partner countries.

VLIR-UOS: covers the tuition fee, a monthly allowance of €1150, and travel costs.

 
7 Scholarship Programme of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) Students from public or state-approved universities and universities of polytechnical/  applied sciences colleges (FH)
