  • General requirements for admission

 

- The applicants can apply for admissions through any of the three portals – University of Arizona Application Portal or common Application or Coalition Application.

- The applicant must have passed high school with required subjects – Mathematics, Social Sciences, English, and Laboratory Sciences.

- The applicant must have an average GPA of 3.0 on a grading scale of 4.0. 

- Proofs of English proficiency through English language tests – TOEFL/IELTS/PTE. SAT and ACT scores are also important as per individual course requirements. 

- Application Essay

- Recommendation Letters

- Copy of Passport

- Proof of documents stating the availability of funds (international students)

- An interview may also be demanded from the admission committee.  

- Application fee - $50.

- The deadlines for application for undergraduate courses are around October (spring), March (summer), and May (fall). These dates may vary by year.


 

  • Tuition fees and other expenses

 

- The tuition costs for bachelor's degree courses at the University of Arizona are in the range of $33000 to $37000 depending on the course chosen for the 1st academic year.

- Hostel and meals can cost up to $10000 while books and supplies can cost around $800 for a year.

- Transportation and traveling can cost around $1800 while other expenses like international student fee and icourse fee can cost up to $500. International students will require insurance during their study period which may cost around $2800. 

- You add around $1800 for miscellaneous costs, so, including tuition costs, total expenses for the 1st academic year can go up to $55000.
