Bristol University Think Big Scholarships

 

Each year, the Bristol Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship is given to overseas students starting a postgraduate degree at the University of Bristol. Students for September 2020 entrance will get scholarships worth GBP 5,000, GBP 10,000, and GBP 20,000.

 

The application form for the 2020 scholarship can be submitted in one of two rounds.

A)Round 1 is on March 29th.

B)Round 2 is scheduled on June 14th.

 

All PG programmes at the University of Bristol are eligible for the scholarship programme.Academic achievements, professional ambitions, and personal statements are used to make selection judgments. There are three questions on the scholarship application that must be carefully addressed. Round I and Round II decisions for the Bristol Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship will be revealed on April 24 and July 10, respectively.

Criteria for Eligibility

 

Applicants must meet the following eligibility conditions to be considered for the Bristol Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship:

 

At the University of Bristol, I'm pursuing a one-year, full-time PG-taught programme.

B)The programme is expected to begin in September 2020.

C)You must be a student from another country.

D)Along with the Bristol Scholarship, you should not have received any additional  support that covers the whole tuition fees.

 

Procedure for Submitting an Application

 

Applicants for the Bristol Think Big Postgraduate Scholarships must fill out a separate scholarship application. There are two rounds in which applications can be submitted:

The following is a step-by-step approach for applying for the Bristol Think Big Undergraduate Scholarship:

 

Step I: Go to the University of Bristol's official website and fill out the online application form. Please submit the following information:

 

A. Student ID (Postgraduate Student) or Student Application ID (Global Transfer 

     Programme).

B. Name, nationality, email address, and country of residence are all required fields.

C. You've applied to a course or programme of study.

D. Grades from your current or most recent educational institution

          

Details about any other financial aid or financing you may be eligible for.

 

Step II: Because there is no save function, students must complete the application form in one sitting.

 

Step III: After rechecking the application, click the submit button; after that, no field can be altered.

 

Step IV: Accept the terms and conditions, submit the requisite scores, and then fill out the application form with the appropriate papers.

 

Step V: After submitting the Think Big Scholarship application, the applicant will receive an email.

 

Candidates must answer the following three questions as part of their Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship application:

 

1. We want to help the smartest and best people who will actively contribute to their 

  country's progress in the future. Please describe any unique qualities or achievements 

  that you believe qualify you for a Think Big scholarship.

2. We're seeking academics who can serve as excellent ambassadors for the university.  

   Please offer an example of a time when you contributed to your community recently.

3. We want to help students who know what they want to do with their lives. Please

  describe how your selected curriculum at the University of Bristol will enable you to 

  'Think Big' and influence your post-graduation ambitions.

 

Fill up the blanks with your unique qualities or accomplishments, academic or extracurricular achievements, and career objectives in mind.

 

Process of Selection

 

The University of Bristol's Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship selection committee evaluates applicants based on the following criteria:

 

1. Academic Excellence

2. Prior Achievements & Experience 

3. Unique Qualities or Achievements 

4. Academic or Extracurricular Achievements

5. Clearly Defined Career Goals

 

Grant Specifications

 

Applicants for the Bristol Think Big PG Scholarship must complete and submit an online application before the deadlines. The following requirements must be followed by both applicants and winners of this scholarship programme:

 

1. Think Big scholarships will be awarded in the form of a tuition fee reduction and are

  non-transferable.

2.If the Scholarship awarded exceeds the total cost of tuition fees, it will be regarded as 

   fully funded, and any remaining funds will not be distributed to the awardee.

3. Students who postpone their studies will not be eligible for the award.

4. Awardees must commit to behave as good ambassadors for the University and

   participate in Bristol University events and promotional initiatives.

 

Bristol University maintains the right to make changes to the scholarship awarded at any time, depending on the availability and quality of applications submitted.
