How thoroughly the questions are answered

The university will notify you of your scholarship selection, preferably in July. Applicants should be aware that the deadline for receiving a decision varies with each university. The recipients of Saltire Scholarships at the University of St Andrews, for example, will be notified in late July.

The authorities have the last say on whether or not to contact an applicant for a presentation or interview. Applicants must accept the scholarship notification within four weeks after receiving the notification. If you do not comply, your scholarship will be revoked.

Saltire Scholarships Termination

The Scottish Government reserves the right to eliminate or cancel Saltire Scholarships from any study programme, particularly if recipients do not follow the required code of behavior.

In addition, if the school believes that the recipient is not actively participating in the defined activities, is causing indiscipline, or is behaving inappropriately, the scholar may be removed from the Saltire Scholarship Program list.
