How do I get a work permit to work in Japan?

For getting a work permit, you first need to get a Certificate of Eligibility issued from the Ministry of Justice in Japan. You would also need a sponsor or employer to apply for the certificate on your behalf to the immigration office. After the certificate is issued, the application for a particular visa can be made.
