There is a cheaper option of Associate's degree available which is a two-year public sector college also known as a community college with an average tuition cost of $3800 per year. However, you can't complete a degree in two years, so you are transferred to a university for an additional two or three years for completion.

Accommodation costs:-

Generally, the Midwest region of the USA is cheaper in terms of living costs than the north-east and east regions of the USA. The average cost of a one-bedroom apartment is $500 and $3500 per month in rural and city areas respectively. On-campus rooms are basically dormitories with two or three persons per room. The average cost for these rooms including board cost is around $11,000 for public universities and $12,000 for private universities per year.

Other expenses:-

The average cost of books and academic supplies is $390 per semester, which becomes $1200 per year. Other essential costs such as household expenses and phone bills cost around $45 per month. Electricity is around $50-$100 per month, and internet facilities count to $45-$50 per month. A public transport pass costs around $50-$60 per month, and there is a student discount in some areas for transportation.

For a private university Undergraduate student – Average $52,500 annually.
