1. Pennsylvania State University, Pennsylvania:-

Pennsylvania State University has incredible 24 campuses in total. Yet, within these campuses, the most beautiful one is the University Park Location in State College. A pathway towards the library in University Park forms a tunnel of elms’ branches during summer and fall seasons, which is a visual delight and relief from studies for students. The Gothic architecture is mesmerizing and is adopted by several other universities as well. Penn State has over 150 programs to choose from for its students. Along with this it also launched the World Campus in 1998 for providing online degree programs. The campus includes one of the largest libraries and sports facilities like Cardio machines, gymnasium, fitness classes, dancing, climbing, and swimming associated with various events and competitions.

 

2. The University of Hawai’ I at Manoa – Honolulu, Hawai:-

The University is situated in an expensive residential area of Honolulu. Along with the greenery all around and the palm trees on the campus, students have access to the beautiful Diamond Head Volcanic cone. The 320- acre campus also covers exotic buildings like Hawaii Hall which also now operates as academic services and administrative center. Sports are a bigger part of the campus which includes swimming, water polo, golf, softball, beach volleyball, etc. Aloha Bash, Cram Jam, and Taste of Aloha are some of the students’ favorite campus events or traditions. Stanford University has a campus of around 8000-acre, which consists of a palm driveway towards the main quadrangle. This way is filled with lines of trees, beautiful flower beds, and heavily grown lawns all over the path. Stanford Memorial Church is recognized as the “architectural Crown Jewel'' of the Stanford campus which was built in 1903 during the American Renaissance. The campus stuns you every time you walk through the pathways with beautiful gardens and colorful artistic collages. Along with the beautiful sights, the 1250-acre campus has other historic buildings such as the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, which is known for its largest collection of 19th century stained glass on its windows. Established in 1819, the unique architecture of the campus is due to the conceptualization by founding father Thomas Jefferson. The campus of the University of Virginia is also acknowledged as “the proudest achievement of American architecture in the past 200 years” by the American Institute of Architects. The neoclassical dome Rotunda is an architectural landmark with red brick construction, white columns, and octagonal shaping used in the design. This is the reason that the University of Virginia (being the only American university) is considered a UNESCO world heritage site. The enormous 13,000- acre campus of the University of the South – Sewanee, is known for its forest-like campus and vintage buildings constructed with stone. One of the beautiful examples of the gothic architecture is definitely - All Saints Chapel, which consists of a tower, a rose window, and drawings of iconic places of worship and views of the Tennessee valley. Along with the amazing architecture, the campus is filled with events, campus traditions, party scenes, and sports activities. Orders of the Gownsmen, tapping the roof are some of the most loved events of the University of the South.
