9. Can I study in Japan on a Schengen visa?

Answer. The Schengen visa allows staying for 3 months in any country of the Schengen zone. As Japan is not a part of the Schengen zone which comprises 26 countries, you cannot enter or study in Japan on a Schengen visa. You have to follow the general visa/student visa procedure for studying in Japan.

Answer. International students can work anywhere except for Night clubs and Pachinko Parlors, etc. Part-time jobs can be found in convenient stores and shops as a shop assistant, sorting jobs at transport companies like Yamato and Sagawa,

Store staff jobs at clothing stores, call center agent jobs, as an English tutor at educational institutes and receptionist jobs at the studio, gym or hotel.
